The Government of the Punjab Finance Department issued the most urgent (Today Through TCs) notification no. FD(W&M) 1-1/70-71(Vol-II) on 27th March 2020 at Lahore. This notification is about the disbursement of salary & pension to the employees of Government of the Punjab. However, the current situation of Pakistan is lockdown due to spreading the Corona Virus. So, as a safety precaution, people are not come out from their homes. Furthermore, Government employees are also on vacations and stay at home. So people will wait for their salary. So the Government of Punjab announces the disbursement of salary & Pension of these employees. The more details of notification are as under;

Details:
I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to inform that due to Coronavirus epidemic. It has been decided by the Competent Authority to disburse the salary and pension to the employees of Government of the Punjab and employees of District Education Authorities and District Health Authorities for the month of April from 28th March 2020 to 30th March 2020.
Necessary instructions to the concerned Bank branched may accordingly please.
