it is announced that PTI GOVT/GOVT of Pakistan will announce budget of 2019-20 in May 2019. all the details of the development budget are demanded before or by 22 March 2019. while the finance ministry of Pakistan announced the calendar for the next financial year.
principal accounting officer is responsible for first preliminary Revised estimate 2018-19 and budget estimate 2019-20 fo federal govt receipts together with reasons for variations by 30th January 2019 and principal accounting officer is also responsible for final estimate of federal govt receipts (2018-19 & 2019-20) together with explanatory note therein before 14th march 2019.
Finance division is responsible for issuance of budget call circular before 21st DEC 2018, development of budget strategy paper before 1st Feb 2019, presentation of budget paper before the cabinet for approval in second week of February 2019 and letter of indicative budget ceilings (3 years) to PAO of ministers / division of current expenditure and development expenditure and copy of ceiling to FAs / DFAs and sector chiefs in planning commission.
completion of all budget documents including green book schedule and summaries for cabinet will be prepared by finance division in befor the last week of April.
Budget will be presented before the parliament of Pakistan by finance Minister in May 2019 (Tentative date)
