- Chat Masala 1/2 teaspoon
How to make tamarind candy Imli Toffee
First of all, we will take a non-stick frying pan and first we add dates 10 (chopped) before adding we soft these dates because sometimes they are hard according to condition. Then add 1 cup of water and flame must be medium to soften the dates and dry it. Then add 1.5 cups of Tamarind Pulp and mix it for some time. After that, we will add 1 cup jaggery and then melt it on slow flame. So after that, we will cook it on a medium flame for some time.
After melting and making the paste of our ingredients then add 1 teaspoon of red chilli powder, also add 1 teaspoon cumin powder then add 1 teaspoon black salt and then add 1/2 teaspoon salt on it. After that, you will add 1/2 teaspoon Chat Masala and melt it for a time till then it will become the thick paste. So after properly mixing with stick-on medium flame, we will off the flame and place at room temperature to decrease its warmness.
After that when your paste is cold then you are able to make the imli toffees according to your choice.
First, you will bring Plastic trap, and then make small pieces of it to make it small toffees. Now you will take your frying pan and with the help of stick or spoon, you will select paste according to the size of toffee and then roll over into that plastic. So, following the same procedure, you will make toffees in plastic according to your requirement.
